The Japan Maritime Self Defense Force destroyer DD 102 Harusame returns to the 1/700 Waterline Series. Harusame is the second ship of the Murasame-class destroyers, planned in 1992 and commissioned on March 24, 1997. The ship’s design incorporates stealth features, with angled surfaces on the hull and superstructure. It has participated in missions such as anti-piracy operations off the coast of Somalia and in the Gulf of Aden, as well as the Rim of the Pacific Exercise (RIMPAC). This kit is easy to assemble with a small number of parts while accurately reproducing the Harusame. A newly designed, full-color painting guide is also included.
