Isuzu's Type 73 Large Truck has been a backbone of the Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force's logistics since the seventies, encompassing three different major versions, and numerous sub-variants, for a range of specialized applications.
The 3 1/2t Truck With Additional Armor (with 6 Figures) represents the most recent major version - the 'New Model' - with an enhanced armor package, to provide additional protection whilst serving overseas (also known as the Overseas Dispatch Operations version). The model kit also includes six figures as standard: two vehicle crew members, and four dismounted infantry, equipped for close-quarters battle (CQB).
Also included is a bonus 'after training' figure, as well as decals suitable for respresenting a UN deployment.
